I want to thank all the great and talented people I have worked with this year some of whom I have been involved with since the beginning of my career I don't know what I'd do with out you.

I would also like to thank everyone who has ever bought an album, said something nice, come to see me play, emailed, asked me to play, complained that I haven't yet played, left a message somewhere on some site liking a song or an album it all means so much..

A new Ben Christophers album is busy spinning the final spins thank you for your patience there will be more to follow early in the new year.

Hi,
I'm happy to say my new album is going really well and is nearing completion,
it has taken sometime to find where I wanted to be and how it should sound and what it should say.

Last year's tour of America and Europe put me back in the right place and thanks for all your messages of kindness and support and to everyone who came to those shows, I really appreciate it and hope to play live in a town near you soon.

I'm in the studio right now about to do a vocal for one of the last few songs, I'm really excited about it as I set out to make this album a long time ago and it has been through so many changes and so have I,
and I can hardly believe I got there without cutting a hole in my heart, anyway I will put something up soon for you to hear.

This year has been good considering I thought I was going to be stuck in one place all year, Bat For Lashes were invited to play at the Sydney Opera house for three nights so we went to Australia for a week and didn't sleep which was a great experience and I have been working with Natasha and David on some new songs all of which with a bit of luck should surface next year sometime.

I have also been working with an amazing girl / Band called 'Cold Specks' Al is from Torronto and has the most spectacular voice and her lyrics reach out to you with such wisdom, I spent a week with her and Rob Ellis (Anna Calvi, PJ Harvey prd) and Jim Anderson (Anna Calvi) Producer.
We went to Monnow Valley in Wales and I took pretty much everything I have in my studio and they were very patient with me while I put, theremins and Harmoniums and Phonofiddle string sections, and church bells and made bass sounds from old victorian stringed horror movie instruments to name but a few .. Goes together beautifully with her self titled "Doom Soul" Sound.. Check her out ..
